About

My Journey

I started as a Computer Science student at FAMAF in 2014.

After studying for three years and working on side projects, I decide to put school on hold and start my professional career.

In 2017, I got my first job as a Backend Software Engineer at Ascentio Technologies, an Argentine aerospace company. Here, I worked on two sub-projects of a satellite mission related to telemetry and telecommands.

After six exciting months, I decide to move on to the next challenge. I joined the hobbyDB team as a Full-stack Ruby On Rails developer. hobbyDB is a collectors' site where they can display their items, buy, sell and interact with a vast amount of information. Here, I build features for end-users and internal tools taking into account scalability and performance.

Present & Future

I still work at hobbyDB. I also recently decided to resume school on the side.

For the future, I'm considering going to grad school to continue increasing my knowledge and get highly specialized.

Some of the areas I'm interested in right now:

  • Distributed Systems
  • AI, Machine Learning
  • Data Science

This list can change. My plan for the next years is to explore and decide what would I like to focus in.

I'm also interested in businesses and I have, as a long term goal, the idea of building an innovative startup.
